Nokia is not exactly running short on photo browsing apps on its phones but Nokia’s Beta Labs has just announced a new app that is in early stages of development called Nokia Photo Browser.
At this stage Nokia Photo Browser is very limited & does not really compete with the other photo tools already in circulation for the 5800. However, it does show a couple of new technologies in operation that we are guessing will play a major role in any future releases.
Nokia Photo Browser has native support $60 5th edition phone like the Nokia 5800 & the Nokia n97 and uses a slick interface to make navigating your images a lot easier to manage.
While ‘MagGlass’ allows you to zoom in on image details, the new technologies include “Face Browsing’, which makes browsing through folders for a specific person a lot easier. Judging from the video that has been releases with the app they work very well, even at this early stage of development. A version for the S60 3rd edition is the pipeline and will be with us shortly, The Beta Lab boys says.
Works good in the device of the S60 edition 5to including Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and N97. The aid for the S60 edition 3ro is coming soon.
