We have looked our fair segment of Guitar Hero / Rock Band drum kit mods, still without immunity, this one is our fav. Tipster Jordan has caught the generation to wire up a Guitar Hero kit & a Rock Band kit to make the best bodacious set of MIDI skins this earth has ever viewed. Functioning a mixture of Osculator, JunXion Lite also Logic, he had been clever to rig up the Rock Band pedal to perform as a high-hat pedal, while reprogramming several of the heads to function as cymbals. Camille, the programmer of OSCulator, took his program functioning with the Velocity-sensitive Guitar Hero drums. I am still conducting JunXion to admit MIDI from the Rock Band Drums. Check out my difference tutorial for equipping JunXion up.
I built a Logic environment with a switch that is energized by the MIDI guide that the Rock Band pedal is shifting via JunXion. It changes the sealed high hat to the expose one when the pedal is free. I am also functioning another transformer to amplify the velocity of the MIDI drums by 30, since the GH drums are pretty muffle otherwise.
